The CPCS A62 – Crane Supervisor Course is for Supervisors, Managers and Slinger Signallers who will be supervising lifting operations.
The course aims to instruct delegates how to safely supervise a lifting operation to ensure compliance with the law and secure the health and safety of all employees and of those who may be affected by their actions. The course covers legislation controlling crane operations, including the LOLER Regulations and British Standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes
Please note that delegates must be able to satisfy pre-requisites before enrolling on this course.
* Please note that for this CPCS course, candidates must have successfully completed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test for supervisors within the past two years.
CSCS Health & Safety tests can be booked through Central Construction Training to be taken at our Cannock, West Midlands test centre
To upgrade to the CPCS Blue Competent Operator the NVQ Level 4 Lift Supervisor must be achieved.
Assessment for this qualification is provided in the workplace the assessor will observe and gather the relevant evidence to sign off the qualification as a competent operator for the Blue license.
The NVQ cost is £1,195 + VAT and must be achieved within 2 years of passing the CPCS trained operator course.
